Playground warriors will be much improved this year. There high school groups will be strong and there 7thgrade is a really good team. The 5th grade team is pretty talented and the second best team in the state. It will be interesting to see how they' will fair against the other teams in the state?

There is a kid on Playground warriors by the name of Mathew Brown, who's in 6th grade playing on the 7th grade team, very good hooper, saw him and Lance Jones battle a couple times last year. At the time Brown was playing for WPGE, two of the top guards I've seen in Illinois and Wisconsin class of 2019.

Oh ok. He is a good ball player and wish him well. Just curious he went to playground warriors they dont have a real track record on having good younger teams or develping any players. Just curious why he went over there.

Thats too bad. I seen the coach that won c/o 2020 nationals this past summer season coaching a 6th grade team also and they looked impressive getting all the way to the championship at ny2la. I bet the Brown kid would fit in nice with that group. After a national ship I bet he could take Brown to the next level.

Matt Brown is a good baller indeed, the plyayground warriors 7th grade team that he now plays for is a perfect fit for him.

So he is going to be playing 7th grade all year or will playground warriors have a 6th grade also. I thought that playground warriors 7th grade was loaded at guards with diener son, and mcabe, herro and the other mixed kid they had which are all pretty good players. Yeah I think matt would of fit great with that other WPGE 6th grade team.

@hooper 1 Jones played great at ny2la. I was impressed with my first time seeing him. G3 develops great talent and that team is fully loaded. He has the talent to carry a team but it seems g3 is loading up for the big trophy. Can't hate! But that kid is special.

@watcher, yes G3 is deep but I agree with you about the Jones kid being special, I had a coach friend of mine tell me he saw that kid shoot and pass the ball lights out at the Illinois aau state semi-finals, dropping 42 pts in 3quarters, with atleast 10 assists to go with his performance, Now thats special, so G3 must have big plans for him.
