@scout dont want to drop no names of players going to MSE and then they dont show up. At any rate there will be some top notch competition there, supposedly its the last camp of the year for any players looking for a national ranking.

booball hopefully it's ran better than the east vs west camp that was in waukegan...that camp was horribly ran and the ranking and scouting services suck..that camp has good intentions I think it just needs to grow

@scout, not so sure who repped Illinois on the 3rd and 4th grade level, but 5th grade their was a kid named Josh Garland, 6th grade there was Dimari Grant, and Lance Jones, 7th grade Josh Oglesby, Marquise Walker, a big kid from chicago, Marquise Brown to name just a few, not so sure about 8th grade.

And before there are any comparisons made between Lance Jones and Demari Grant, they are as different as night and day, Grant is a nice little guard with great quicknes, who can get to the basket. Lance Jones is bigger, stronger and good with the ball, both of these guys are players.

@ballislife those that were picked for the East vs West will be announced on Dec. 31st. @scout there was a kid at the camp named Marquis from chicago other then Marquis Walker, he also plays for George Hill. claymull top 5 ranking for Lance, he's played in alot of tournaments against alot of those players listed above and below him in the rankings, so he was definetly known on the national aau circuit because he played very well against All Ohio Red, Memphis War Eagles etc. he's a good player who has earned that #5 ranking, it was'nt just given to him.

claymull, yes Lance has ben to nationals, twice with Illinois Future where his teams finished 4th one year and 6th the next. Last year he played with the Illinois Raptors and the team finished 3rd, so he was known already on the national aau scene, several coaches know about him. Special talent indeed, but even more so in the classroom.

booball I didn't know the illionis future was that good that they have done that well in nationals! Y did he leave that team if they finished that well at nationals . Seems if they stayed together they could be one of the best teams around. He is a really good player and is fun to watch.
